The park has many nature trails, signposted paths, picnic spots and shelters, giving plenty of optional routes for day trips or longer trips involving camping out overnight. Heretty cabin has a summer cafe offering visitors tips for trips and selling souvenirs and small savoury and sweet treats. You can also rent row boats for Kalalahti and accommodation at Heretty at the cafe. Regional activity operators provide guided hiking trips and paddling services in the park.
